Canoe Vineyard & Winery is a family affair, started by Charles and Cathy Hoetink. One of Cartecay Bike Shop Brewery’s most unique features is its on-site microbrewery, the only one of its kind in the Southeast.

Cartecay River Brewing, a 10-barrel craft brewery in Ellijay, Georgia, was originally founded by Brooks Wade.

Brandon Lofton acquired the brewery in 2025 with grand ambitions of evolving it into a full-service brewpub.

They have indoor & outdoor seating available, with live music every Saturday & Sunday from 1:30 - 5:30 p.m., as well as food trucks on the weekend. 

Cartecay Vineyards, located in Ellijay, GA, is situated in the Eastern part of Gilmer County, in the Cartecay region. The region of Cartecay was named by the Cherokee and translates to “Bread Valley.”

The Tasting Barn is the original Barn, rehabilitated, that was first constructed in circa 1890 and contains all the original wood and character... a sight to see!

Ott Vineyards and Winery is located on 20 acres with one of North Georgia's most beautiful mountain views at 180 degrees.  We currently have 12+ acres of French-American hybrids and Vinifera grapes including: Seyval Blac, Traminette, Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, Lenoire and Cabernet Franc.

They're open 7 days a week with live music on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as well as special holidays. They'll have local food trucks available on some weekends as well as small appetizers and charcuterie boards available from their kitchen.
